Description:
Madison's is one of the loveliest dining rooms and casual cocktail bars in Edmonton. Once an early-20th-century bank, the building's formal architectural details remain, but they now share the light-and-airy space with modern art and excellent food. The menu is contemporary, bridging Continental European cuisine with regional Canadian ingredients. The menu features grilled and roast fish and meat, plus pasta dishes and interesting salads (one special featured rose petals, baby lettuce, and shaved white chocolate). Other standouts include smoked-tomato ravioli, and a pork chop stuffed with wild mushrooms and goat cheese in a pear reduction sauce.
