Description:

  • Bright and lively, this very popular bistro has a somewhat unlikely name, given that it's one of the best casual Italian trattoria in Edmonton. Menu choices range from specialty pizzas to fine entree salads -- I loved the seared goat cheese salad with mushrooms, pumpkin seeds, and smoked pear dressing -- to grilled meats, chicken, and pasta. Most dishes tend toward light or healthy preparations without sacrificing complexity. A rack of lamb comes with lemon lentils, and pork rib-eye comes with blueberry pepper sauce.
