Edmonton City Hall

Description:

  • An elegant structure in contemporary design, the City Hall of Edmonton is a renovated public building. Rebuilt in the year 1992, the structure is the work of the Dub Architects of Edmonton. The glass pyramid of the main building faces a grand fountain that is used as an ice skating rink in winter. The City Hall not only houses important government offices, but is also the venue for numerous public events. Facilities within the hall can also be hired for private functions. Visitors can take a break at the Kids in the Hall Bistro and make purchases at the souvenir store called Edmonton Shop.
