Description:

  • Hermitage Park is located in the northeastern section of the city, near the Yellowhead Trail. It is part of Edmonton's group of river valley parks, which form the largest area of parkland in North America today. The park is a mixture of trees and open grassland as it follows the line of the river. There is a pond stocked with trout if you fancy some fishing, as well as numerous trails for hikers and bikers. The trails transform for skiing and snowshoe jaunts in the wintertime. Call the tourist office for more details.
