Thousands of metres of government records, 400,000 photographs, maps, sound recordings, videos, audiovisual collections, and more are archived here. There are records which date back to as early as the 18th century. Copies of certificates can be obtained. T-shirts and other novelties are available in the gift shop. Admission is free.
