Reminiscent of a Belgium mountain-style château, this luxurious hideaway is nestled in 7,500 gated and secluded acres of private forest just 15 minutes west of Beaver Creek. Rocky Mountain timber and stone, along with elegant wrought iron, are prominent in the handsome, residential-style guest rooms. Most rooms feature a wood-burning or gas fireplace, all have king- or queen-size beds, and most have private balconies or decks with views of the Sawatch Range of the Rockies. Smoking is not permitted. The award-winning spa includes two dedicated facial rooms, a hydrotherapy room, a dedicated manicure and pedicure salon, a meditation room, and several multipurpose treatment rooms. The resort offers 15 miles of mountain biking/cross-country ski trails, horseback riding, a Nordic ski center, ski shuttles, and private clubs at both Vail and Beaver Creek. Cordillera is considered one of the premier golf communities in the state, and there are also private fly-fishing waters on-site.
Facilities: 2 restaurants (global, pub); 2 pools (outdoor, indoor lap); golf courses (3 18-hole and a 10-hole short course); 2 tennis courts; exercise room; full-service spa; indoor/outdoor whirlpool; steam room; sauna; bicycle rentals; concierge; limited room service (6:30am-10pm); massage; valet laundry and dry cleaning.
