• At a seating capacity of up to 10,000, Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center may not be the biggest arena in the country, but it does attempt to look better than the average giant block that most arena's are modeled after. The large windows of the entrance make the building appear lighter and more welcoming, as opposed to the heavier, more oppressive feel of standard arenas. Though once inside, the drab, standard architecture takes over. But it's pretty certain that the thousands of people who pack the arena every year to see spectacular concerts, sport games, and, that mainstay of arena entertainment, Disney on Ice, will spend a whole lot of time looking around and wondering if anything could be done to make the space more personable. Comcast arenas raison d'etre is to house fantastic, over-the-top productions, along with the masses of people who will pay to see them, and in this, it succeeds.
