• Just what the doctor ordered, Türkü Evi is that perfectly characteristic Turkish pub that's so lacking in these parts. The entrance is up the exterior stone steps to the left, which lead to a softly lit pub decorated with Anatolian carpets and serenaded by a local folk guitarist. The earlier you go, the mellower the experience; after about 11pm, locals start to pile in, light up, and dance à la turque -- hands raised into the air. Daily 9pm to 3am.
