This is just the society destination that Ölüdeniz needed to detract from the overwhelming presence of partiers and daredevil paragliders. It commands the best spot above the far end of Belcegiz Beach, on the road that leads to Faralya and Kabak, a position on dual terraces with stunning sunset views backed by a cacophony of crashing waves. Couples may want to opt for the romantic dining terrace, a quiet and candlelit spot. Its highlight is the "G3" table, which, thanks to the best views in the house, has entertained some of the world's most privileged (having arrived by boat). Long pub tables take up the main dining terrace, with plenty of room for dishes like Mediterranean lobster and whatever the catches of the day happen to be. Mezes include the Ottoman favorite icli köfte (a large fried dumpling of cracked wheat surrounding a center of spiced chopped lamb) and an overwhelming variety of seafood salads. The raw whole octopus (eye included) is a house specialty prepared in the Greek style; or for the squeamish, there's stuffed grape leaves and other fresh cold starters.
