- Established in 1972, the Mad Italian Public House, or "Mad I" to the locals, is located just outside downtown Flagstaff. This is the quintessential college town bar, with a great selection of beers on tap, burgers and wings on the menu, and live music playing on most nights. There are three separate bar areas, an outdoor patio, nightclub, and plenty of cozy indoor spots for those cold autumn and winter nights.
The bar also hosts weekly dance parties, and broadcasts all the big sports events. However, if you want to come here to watch an NAU game, come early to stake out a bar stool. This is a popular spot for NAU fans and tends to fill up quickly on game days. - © NileGuide2012
