The impressive collection of taxidermy was the labor of love of Dean Eldredge, a hunter and collector who began construction on a taxidermy museum in 1931. Today, Eldredge's log cabin museum is home to one of the region's oldest roadhouses, featuring upbeat country music, lots of line dancing, and plenty of beer on tap.
