    • Large, rustic wooden lodge offers three spacious guest rooms for travelers seeking a peaceful Northern Arizona retreat. The Shooting Star Inn attracts photographers, nature-lovers, and star-gazers from around the world, and it's not hard to see why: the large front window offers awesome views of Humphrey's Peak and the Arizona Snowbowl, and your room rate includes a basic astronomical viewing session using the inn's giant binoculars and telescopes. Rooms have en suite baths and private outside entrances, free high speed Internet, and a full breakfast is served in the morning. Dinner can also be ordered for an additional rate. The Inn is located 21 miles north of Flagstaff and 51 miles from the Grand Canyon, just past milepost  236 on Highway 180.
