Description:

  • Compared to the South Rim RV parks, where sagebrush is often the largest plant in sight, this North Rim RV park looks like it came out of a fairy tale. Throughout the campground, ponderosa pines pierce the sky like Jack's mythical beanstalk. Some campers even have a view past the trees to Jacob Lake. This is easily the prettiest RV park setting in the Grand Canyon area. Generators are forbidden so that everyone can enjoy the quiet.

There are two public showers ($1.50 for 5 min.), and laundry facilities, so all that's missing is flush toilets. Though the toilets are hooked up to a larger septic system, they resemble portable toilets in every other way, including the fact that they're dark as caves at night.
