Next to NAU, the University area hosts student-friendly restaurants and stores. This means the amenities are affordable and lively. A number of hotels, luxury and budget, are available in the area and it is a close drive to Interstate 17, Interstate 40, and downtown Flagstaff. Interestingly, the entire university runs parallel to Milton Street, on which all of these businesses are located.
