Consistently fresh ingredients make for delicious dishes at Salsa Brava, one of your best bets for yummy Mexican food in Flagstaff.

  • Description:

    • Flagstaff may not be the capital of Mexican food (a title claimed by its neighbor to the south, Tucson), but Salsa Brava proves that Northern Arizona has plenty to offer in terms of inventive, fresh, and delicious Mexican food. Even Guy Fieri stopped by for a taco, featuring this favorite Flagstaff Mexican food restaurant on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, Dives. Why all the fuss? Let's start with the pineapple habanero salsa, which is as tasty as it sounds. And unlike greasy take-out joints, that douse the food in yellow cheese for flavor, the Salsa Brava menu relies on lean, fresh ingredients for maximum flavor. All food is made to order, with salsas handmade in the kitchen daily. Meat dishes use boneless, skinless chicken and antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken and pork. Don't expect to find lard or MSG in your taco or chile relleno--it's (thankfully!) not there.
