Description:
- This should be your first stop in Flagstaff, especially if it's your first time visiting. The place is a tourist attraction in itself, being situated across from downtown inside the historic 1927 train depot that houses the Amtrak ticket counter; a must-see to train aficionados. The always-friendly staff at the desk will try to answer any questions you might have about the town and the region, and supply you with free maps and brochures. There's a gift shop, too, offering an abundance of Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Route 66 and train souvenirs. Two-hour parking is available around the depot, with unlimited parking across the railroad tracks.
