Description:
- Located in North Arizona's University campus, this Skydome is considered one of the largest timber domes in the world! The dome was named after former University President Dr. J. Lawrence Walkup. It provides facilities for football, basketball, indoor track and field, soccer, weight lifting, lacrosse, student recreation, and hosts major concert events. It has a seating capacity of over 15,000 spectators, and can accommodate an additional 1,200 spectators on temporary seats. The size of the arena is 97,000 square feet so that no event suffers problems due to lack of space.
