Playthings Of the Past - Flagstaff

  • Description:

    • Life prior to video games included dreams, dolls and whimsical imaginings, which played a major role in many young lives. Each year, Arizona Pioneer Museum brings a seasonal exhibit of playthings, which evolve and grow with each opening. Whimsical examples of antique toys, trains, games, playhouses and precious dolls, dating from the late 19th century and spanning through the mid-20th century, speak to your inner child. The opening event has featured a working toy maker and traditionally takes place the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. A nominal admission fee applies.
