- Situated right in front of the unique facade of Santo Spirito. Opened since 1990, Cafe Cabiria is named after the famous cinema, is where Florentines love to meet for lunch or a easy apertivo. The cafe is open for lunch from 10am to 2pm every day and from 7pm to 9.30pm for a hearty and fresh aperitivo. During the summer months it is glorious to sit outside in the cafe area as the sun slowly passes down the facade of the church and cooling off the piazza just a bit. On the weekends, the place is filled with music with DJs and also there are TVs to watch your favorite match. The cafe is also used by local artists as an exhibition space where you can see the newest works of the local painters, sculptors and photographers.
