Fuori Porta

• One of the first wine bars opened in town, Fuori Porta offers customers a choice of over 500 wines which pair perfectly with their gastronomic specialties. Their signature dish is the Crostone (crisp bread) with cold meats, vegetables or cheese but the menu also includes first courses, salads, carpaccio dishes and good desserts. Some wines are also available by the glass. Opened 20 years ago the wine bar is located five minutes walking distance from Ponte Vecchio, just outside the ancient city gate of San Niccolo, as its name suggests (fuori porta means "outside the gate"). There is also outdoor seating in the warm season.
