The William Pub

Via Antonio Magliabechi, 7, Florence, Italy

055 263 8357

It was once the residence of the powerful and wealthy merchant, Agnolo Doni, but once it lost its importance as a private home, the ground floor turned into The William Pub. Painted in the first half 1800 by Luigi Ademollo, now a popular pub for locals and foreigners alike. The William Pub has a wide spread menu for both lunch and dinner. There are happy hour specials that can be served with a buffet of snacks and mini-sandwiches. The weekends are full of patrons both English-speaking and locals. Close to the Arno River, The William Pub is a great stop for an after dinner drink on your way back to the hotel.
