Pubs are prevalent in Florence with a vast majority of the people that travel to Florence always have a craving for a large burger. Pasta is all well and good but after a long 2 two week trip you might fancy some french fries or a chicken sandwich. Most pubs carry such delicious American, Irish and English type of food. If you need a break from the pasta and pizza, head over to one of these fine establishments. Such as Danny Rock, this pub serves very large burgers with the typical style English 'chips'. They serve all the delicious beers you can find in a pub in English as well.
The Old Stove Pubs (Signoria, Duomo and Porcellino) have made it a priority to make the atmosphere in each pub be authentic. They serve a plethora of beers from all over Europe and some from other continents. The meals they provide are simple pub food specialties like hamburgers, hot dogs and ham and cheese sandwiches. At Old Stove Porcellino offer an array of food as well, like pizza,club sandwiches, bruschette. Old Stove Signoria serves pasta dishes that are made fresh next door at Lorenzaccio. There is live music and karaoke every week.
Il Bovaro has the pub food as well as their own brewed beer. They brew the beer on site. The beer is true Italian. They serve wurstel from Munich and french fries as well as large German pretzels. There is also delicious pork to sink your teeth into. Pub food is prominent in Florence so come and try the famous pubs of Florence.
