Florence is full of fun activities but what about fun restaurants? Florence is full of many different types of dining, family dining, expensive dining, couple dining and laid-back dining. These ten restaurants are places where you can kick back and enjoy yourself with the calm and ease of the day or evening. Cuculia Liberia con Cucina is a very popular place to pop in with your computer and order a cappuccino and take advantage of the wifi internet access for the afternoon. They also have a very unique spread for an aperitivo each evening. It is a worth a stop.
Trattoria dei Quattro Leoni is one of my favorites to escape to. Hidden in Piazza della Passera, it is perfect for celebrities to frequent. And they do! Once inside, the walls are covered with famous people. From Dustin Hoffman to Sting. The menu is seasonal and delicious. The prices are reasonable and affordable for us peasant folk for sure. Borgo Antico is a pizzeria located in Piazza Santo Spirito. The staff is very friendly and the pizza is to die for. I recommend the pizza with zucchini, you can never go wrong with zucchini.
The Diner is Florence's first diner in the city. It serves all the typical American food. From breakfast like pancakes and french toast, for lunch there is grilled cheese and hamburgers galore. The milkshakes are a hot seller as well. If you are craving food from home, The Diner is the place to visit. Il Bovaro is Florence's only microbrewery that produces its own beer on site. You will notice as you walk the huge barrels of beer. The food is great with a fabulous beer to match.
