  • Florence has an amazing assortment of activities and sights to see. The top ten things to do in Florence can't be limited to these things. The Duomo is the masterpiece of the city that millions gaze up at each year. The Ponte Vecchio will you a great backdrop for your photo. If you are an art fan, the Uffizi Gallery shows off the Renaissance pieces in many rooms.

    Florence is a very walkable city so finding the attractions that are listed here are easy as pie. In Piazza Santa Croce there is always something going on, a festival, a market. Santa Croce has many tombs of famous Florentines who were so special to the city. Museo Galileo was recently renovated and is full of information about Galileo and many objects that assisted in many scientific experiments. Bringing your dog on your trip? If so there is a great park called Parco delle Cascine where you are take nice long walks along the river and shop at the market every Tuesday that is set up there. Piazza della Signoria and Piazza della Repubblica are great meeting places as they are easy to spot. With the Palazzo Vecchio standing tall in Piazza della Signoria, you notice the fake David outside the entrance. Many famous cafes are situated in Piazza della Repubblica in which they are able to charge a lot for the view.
