  • Description:

    • A once palazzo for made for Prince Carrega di Lucedio in Florence, now a prestigious hotel located right near the train station. He asked the Baglioni family to turn his residence into a hotel when he decided to move to Rome. In 1903 it opened as a full running hotel with 64 rooms. During the war, it was occupied by partisans of the Arno Division who were trying to oust the last snipers left in the city by shooting from the hotel's terrace. This hotel is a symbol of Florentine hospitality. Now at 193 renovated and fabulously decorated rooms are shown as comfortable and elegant. There are 9 conference rooms for business meetings. The restaurant in the hotel is located on the rooftop terrace with a splendid garden with views of the city.
