Osteria Pepò

Description:

  • In the heart of Florence, quite close to the Medicean Chapels, the trendy Pepò, is open for both lunch and dinner. The menu is strongly influenced by traditional Tuscan cooking. Marinated herrings as an entrée or the old fashioned local soups (tomato and bread, vegetables and bread or pumpkin soup), are a tasty alternative to pasta dishes. The simpler lunch menu includes salads and hot or cold farro dishes. Also interesting, is the list of home-made desserts and the list of Tuscan only wines.
