Neighbourhood San Frediano

• I like to visit the neighbourhhood of San Frediano where it is possible to find the popular and artistic heart of Florence. In this neighbourhood, located 15 minutes from the center of the town, you are able to visit the Cappella Brancacci at the church of San Frediano at del Carmine square. The frescos are very fine and it is possible to wacht a movie presenting its history. Not to loose it during your visit in Florence. Then, in the above neighbourhood ,it is possible to find 2-3 restaurants at not expensive prices where you can enjoy the world well known "bistecca alla fiorentina" (florentine steak) and where you are able to find the shops of genuine artisanal products "made in Florence" (frames for paintings, jewels, chandeleirs etc.). 3-4 hours are enough to visit this above neighbourhood.
