Vespa Small Group Day Trip to the Chianti Wine Region

• Chianti on a vespa: sounds like a great way to tour Tuscany, that is why it is one of the top ten tours of Florence. A unique way to experience the vineyards in all it's glory. Chianti by vespa gains you access to country roads that large buses aren't able to drive down. You will uncover small farmhouses and wine-producing property that will offer you cheap wine and gorgeous atmosphere. Riding around with your vespa, drinking in wine, sights, smells and sounds. Your adventure will begin in Florence when a comfortable mini-van will transport you from city life to country life. The tour begins with a 30 minute orientation session, so you can learn how to maneuver your vespa safely. Only a maximum of 8 people are allowed on this small tour so you'll have the attention of your guide throughout. A stop at an ancient castle for lunch is one of highlights where you can sample all of the Tuscan specialties of the season. Of course there will be wine-tasting as well. Return to Florence will be around 4:30pm. Vespas are appropriate for anyone aged 18 and older. You must present a valid drivers license.You do not need a motorcycle license. Children 12-18 years can join the tour as a passenger. Remember to dress comfortably and according to the weather as well.
