Description:

  • Opened in March 1997, the Morada Bay Beach Café offers guests a beautiful sunset view from bayside tables, a casual surfing and sailboard interior and an eclectic bistro style menu.   Created to evoke the feel of a beach café where the Hawaiian and Californian surfers and sailboarders would relax after a day on the water, The Café is an outdoor Mediterranean bistro set in the sand, with inside and outside bars, unique live entertainment, a large child-friendly beach with giant Adirondack chairs, and renowned Full-Moon Parties monthly.

Every Full Moon, we host a large beach party with multiple bonfires in the sand and many different specialty drinks available at our indoor and outdoor bars.  Join us for dinner at either restaurant; or settle into an Adirondack chair, a tropical colored tiki table and stools, or bring a blanket to relax on.  During dinner, enjoy a Café entertainer playing guitar (flamenco, rockabilly, jazz).

After 10:00 pm, we feature an electric Reggae band in the center of the beach, while DJ's maintain the dance & party vibe at both the Café and the Green Flash Lounge at Pierre's.  In addition, any number of other performers may join the Party throughout the evening:  Brazilian Capoeira dancers, Bahamian Junkanoo Parade, a circus thru the beach (stilt walkers, fireblowers, acrobats, etc.), face painters, balloon artists, giant screen TV's, fireworks, ... A $15.00 cover charge applies to all guests.

    alfresco near the beach

  • There is something special about dining by the light of tiki lamps. The entire restaurant is outdoors. The drinks were enjoyable and well-sized. My companions all enjoyed their entrees....

Eat at the Bar No Wait

  • This place is very busy and is as beautiful as described. We have eaten here before and have had not great service. The wait this time for a table on the beach was over an hour no wait...

    Bad, Bad, Bad

  • The quality of the food was dreadful; probably the worst pasta dinners we ever had. And overpriced. The kitchen made no effort to satisfy. Do yourself a favor and avoid.
