  • Description:

    • As the nation's first underwater park, this extremely popular facility stays busy year-round. Water sports enthusiasts are scurrying to snorkel, scuba dive, fish, crab, swim, ride sea cycles, canoe, kayak, and more. With 178 nautical miles of coral reefs this beautiful area is ideal for those who enjoy an active vacation. The campground is a functional facility. People do not come to relax and hang out at camp, they come to enjoy the fabulous coral reefs! There are 47 sites found tucked between a mangrove forest and a tidal creek. Each site comes with a picnic table, fire ring, water spigot and electricity. Pay telephones are at the restroom facilities located at each end of the campground. Hot showers are included. Several sites have shade with slight privacy while others have little vegetation. There is also a youth campground that accommodates up to 24 people.
