Description:

  • A great way to see the nation's only living coral reef is to get under the water and take a look for yourself. This outfit provides snorkeling and diving expeditions at Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. Instruction in snorkeling is free and the company offers daily reef trips on a 45-foot dive boat. If you'd like to get underwater certification, instructors can get you certified in three days. Charters leave daily at 10am and return at 3pm, visiting three locations.

Looe Key Reef is also the site of the annual Underwater Music Festival in July. Make sure you reserve your dive or snorkel spot early for this amazing, popular event focused on fun AND coral reef preservation.
