- Cinema Paradiso or the Vinette Caroll Theater seats 209 people and is named after the late Vinette Carroll. Ms. Carroll is famed for being the first woman to direct a Broadway show and was of an African-American descent to add to the odds stacked up against her. The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) showcases its screenings here. The theater has all the necessary equipment for different kinds of screenings and formats. It can also be rented out for business delegations, party functions and other meetings.
