Description:
- Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina For nearly thirty years, 15th Street Fisheries has enjoyed legendary status for great seafood served fresh above the docks at Lauderdale Marina. Now under new ownership, in the hands of the family who founded the Lauderdale Marina nearly 60 years ago, the Cox, Clark, and Drum Family. Through all of the years, the 15th Street Fisheries has been considered on of the finest restaurants in Florida, by Florida Trend Magazine. At the helm is the rising star, Chef Tuong Nguyen, formerly of the "21 Club" in New York, and St. Regis Hotel in Houston. Casual dining with fresh seafood downstairs, with live music, while watching the daily feeding of giant tarpon at our dock. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and boat dockage. You simply will not find better views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats.

Good Seafood
-
Seems more known for the steak dinners. Not a big selection of fresh fish but the prime rib was really tender. Cut it with a fork. Fairly good value for the dollar.

Great location. Watching the fish through the glass floor is quite an experience. We take our visitors here for a taste of waterfront dining. Prices are reasonable downstairs.
