  • There are so many options to choose from in Frankfurt, it's hard to know where to start! Spend entire days soaking in the beautiful local gardens of the Palmengarten, Germany's largest garden. It is simply not to be missed. After you've enjoyed a bit of peace and quiet at the gardens, head in to the city to explore some of the more renowned Frankfurt museums. Leave plenty of time for the Stadel Museum, which houses the largest collection of art in the area. Make sure to visit the Historisches Museum as well as the Museum fur Angewandte Kunst. There are many excellent museum choices in Frankfurt, so be sure to choose wisely. After you've had your fill of indoor activities, plan a small walking excursion amongst Frankfurt's legendary architecture. The downtown area has many beautiful buildings that are well worth a look. Visit the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe at the Goethe-Haus. Afterward, check out Hauptbahnhof, Germany's largest train station. This stunning piece of architecture is simply teeming with famous paintings and sculptures. Regardless of where your interests take you in this beautiful city, Frankfurt has a wide selection of local attractions to choose from.
