• It was renovated and brought back to its original colonial splendour in 2006 an English gentleman, Mr.Merrrington and is now managed by a lovely family. From the moment you leave the hustle and bustle of the Fort streets you will immediately enjoy a warm welcome from the Restaurant Manager Jerome and his wife Malani and daughter Dinesha's Sri Lankan cooking is legendary. You will be find Root top Cafe & Restaurant it is marvelous place reccomond for Panoramic view in all Galle Fort nearby. The building has many original features such as the barred windows, high airy ceilings and columns characteristic of many colonial fort houses.
