Galway Irish Crystal Heritage Centre

Galway Irish Crystal Heritage Centre - Galway

  • Description:

    • On the Dublin Road, just outside Galway city, stands a beautiful mansion. This is where the world-famous Galway crystal is handcrafted by mastercutters. There are guided tours through the building, where displays illustrate Galway's heritage and the ways the city has evolved through the years. The tour culminates in a visit to the factory, where the cutters can be seen shaping the brilliant crystal. Feel free to browse through the extensive showroom and admire the beautiful pieces of crystal and Belleek china. The restaurant upstairs offers a varied menu and is a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy the view, providing a fitting end to a unique experience.
