Description:
- Killary Fjord is an excellent location for a diving centre; it is ten miles long and 40 meters deep, and is sheltered by mountains. This is an all-weather centre so diving is guaranteed all year round. Two purpose-built diving boats with radar, GPS, VHF and ladder are available. The "dive taxi" and "offshore dive" allow approximately 12 divers to travel at speed and in comfort. There is usually a break for lunch on an offshore island between dives. This is a very enjoyable way to explore the waters in Killary Fjord.
