Anchor Inn Motel

• The Anchor Inn is a well-maintained, relatively modern hotel just off the harbor. It was extensively updated in 1995, and has been kept up well enough since. Don't expect fancy, though: It's boxy and bland, with beige siding, and the rooms are standard motel units with durable chain-hotel furniture and decor. The best deals by far are the eight efficiency units in a separate building on a rise above the motel. They're larger and have small kitchens (you can buy fresh seafood in town and cook it yourself). Ask for a room with a harbor view. If you can't snag a room with a kitchen, there's also a restaurant on the premises.
