Description:

  • The most upscale hotel in the area is on the hillside overlooking Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 1.5km (1 mile) from the city center and 3km (2 miles) from the Bahnhof. It has excellent views of the Wetterstein mountain range and the Zugspitze (from front rooms only; rear rooms open onto a forested hillside). Bedrooms are well kept and range from midsize to spacious; some accommodations contain showers instead of bathtubs. The decor is generally Art Nouveau.
