  • The bars in Glasgow or pubs to Glaswegians, are just perfect for dropping into during a shopping trip, during/after work or as a kick off to your evenings entertainment. You are spoilt for choice, literally! Glasgow boasts the largest and most varied number of pubs in the whole of Scotland! From cocktails, to fine wines and ales and usually excellent music or entertainment. You just may not want to leave!

Bon Accord is the place in Glasgow for good beer, good food and Malt Whisky. The best pub for real hand-pulled, cask-conditioned ales. Offers affordable pub food as well.

Heraghty's Free House is an Irish pub that serves up a brilliant pint of Guinness. Unfortunately, no pub food, but there is a lady's toilet.

The Horshoebar can be described as a mecca for varying types of Glaswegians. It has two bars, the ground floor is the actual 'horseshoe' bar and upstairs is the equally famous lounge. It has the longest circular bar in Britain. The pub can be found between Renfield Street and West Nile Street in Drury lane, in the heart of the city centre. It is usually jam packed with an ecclectic bunch. Enjoy the famous Karaoke Monday to Saturday 8pm until close and Sunday 5pm until close...standards are exceptionally high! A "pint and a pie" is the typical offering, but the menu holds much much more at terrific prices.

Revolver is gay-owned and operated. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with a friendly staff, as well as pool tables, free wifi, and a free digital jute box. The decor is tasteful and most nights the bar serves a slight older clientale, but one that is still hip and fashionable. Not at all cheesy or flamboyant. They offer a karaoke night on Tuesdays and comedy sketches on Sunday afternoon.
