    The Knowes is a bungalow that was built in the 1920s and is surrounded by pleasant gardens in a quiet residential street. One of the rooms has an en suite bathroom and the other has a private bathroom next door so you won't have to share facilities, but only one room has a TV. Breakfast is continental style. For those who wish to sample the delights of Glasgow's vibrant city center and the numerous local attractions, there are several buses passing at regular intervals which will take you wherever you want to go.

    Enjoy a fabulous cooked breakfast at the Scottish guest house, the Seton. This pretty building is situated in the east end of Glasgow, only five minutes away from the city centre. Transport into the centre is facilitated by proximity to many bus routes which pass by at regular intervals.

    Cathedral House is close to the medieval Glasgow Cathedral and started life in 1877 as the regional headquarters for the church, hence the name. Located one mile from the city center, this gorgeous redbrick building only opened as a hotel in 1990. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is reputed to have two permanent guests - the ghosts of two children.
