The Best of NileGuide
- If you are looking for a family day out in Glasgow, there are lots of good places in and outdoors. Our top 10 list contains some fantastic outdoor places that you just may not uncover by yourself and they really do deserve a mention. However if the weather is poor, use the indoor places on the list and don't forget there are several cinemas, leisure centres, arts n crafts and soft play scattered throughout the city. They are also very easy to locate! Don't forget that the museums in Glasgow ( which are FREE) usually have kids activities too, such as arts, reading and workshops for kids and young people. They run regular weekly and monthly events and a seasonal calender. Don't forget the library if you are stuck for a family day out in Glasgow. Glasgow libraries contain a children's section filled with children's books, media, and a few child-sized tables, chairs, toys and free internet access. Most libraries in Glasgow also host Bounce and Rhyme sessions for children ages 0-3. Each session lasts about an hour.
