The Merchant city is home to Gandolfi's. They offer a menu full of superb ingredients, locally sourced, simply cooked and served with care. Gandolfi also introduced the early culinary use of Stornoway black pudding, layering it on thick pancakes with a sprinkling of mushrooms. Deagh Bhiadh, Deagh Bheannachd is the Gaelic proverb that is on the wall of Cafe Gandolfi, meaning Well Fed, Well Blessed. The proverb is the driving force behind Gandolfis service and quality.
In a stylish attic above the restaurant, sits Bar Gandolfi and due to popular demand, the full Cafe Gandolfi menu is available upstairs. Up the street is Gandolfi Fish, the owner's dedicated fish restaurant. Gandolfi Wine Cub meets on the first Monday of every Month, starting at 6.30pm. £10.00 per person.
