The Ubiquitous Chip is located in the heart of the charming cobblestone Ashton Lane. It has become a Glasgow institution with a passion to bring Scotland's cooking out of the home and into the restaurant. It is hailed by many loyal returning customers as the best restaurant in Scotland. The main restaurant is split into two main rooms, very airy with lots of greenery and a domed roof. The lesser known 'Upstairs at the Chip' is an upstairs Brasserie style extension of the restaurant that offers the same type of wonderful food at more modest prices.
