Description:
- With 45 miles of meandering trails, this recreation expanse is a favorite among outdoor lovers. Campers, picnickers, hikers, bikers and fishermen enjoy the streams, ponderosa pine forests, dramatic rock outcroppings and open meadows filled with wildflowers. In the winter, snowshoers and cross-country skiers take advantage of the park, just 30-minutes south of Boulder. The center also provides maps detailing the hiking and mountain biking trails. A leash law is in effect throughout the park. Make reservations if you plan to camp. There is a daily vehicle fee.
