This small fort, perched atop a hill just a short walk from the Parque Central above Hotel Guancascos, boasts the best views of Gracias. Apart from the tomb of one-time Honduras (1841-42) and El Salvador (1847-52) president Juan Lindo and a few Spanish cannons there is little of cultural interest here, however. The fort was renovated in late 2007.
