- Hostal Atenas is more like a simple hotel, offering rooms with a minimalist, modern design that are clean, comfortable, and far surpass the dorms and communal bathrooms of most hostels in its price range. Centrally located, Atenas is a short walk from the Albayzín and Granada Cathedral as well as a number of popular bars and restaurants. English-speaking staff are helpful with bookings, provide free maps, and can call you a taxi or give directions; however, they're not the most enthusiastic bunch. Other than the lack of overt friendliness at the front desk, you'll have everything you need. Each room includes a private bathroom, television, air conditioning, heating, fresh towels daily, and free Wi-Fi. If you want a balcony with a view and don't mind the noise, ask for a room on the Gran Vía; quieter rooms are also available upon request. Rooms for 1-4 people from 15-70€.

Stayed here whilst traveling with Intrepid. Hotel is located on the main street of Granada which is very busy,traffic never stops. Room was OK, a reasonable size and bathroom was OK...

The location was really good, close to the city centre and the Alhambra at a nice walk distance. The staff was really helpful. The rooms were a bit small but nice enough.
