- Like its nearby sister hotel Dauro, this one is popular with individual tourists and groups from other parts of Europe and the USA, because the beds are extra long and wide, with firm mattresses. It's smart and stylish without being flashy. The bedrooms are a reasonable size and are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The décor is understated and elegant throughout, with abundant use of white marble, dark wood, Persian rugs and bronze-framed mirrors. The only exception is the bizarre-looking 1920s water fountain on one wall of the lobby. The hotel is surrounded by lively tapas bars on the pedestrian street outside the front door.
