  • Come here if you want a slick, marble-clad hotel rather than something more evocative of Andalusia. In overall luxury, only the Saray does it (slightly) better. A sleek, modern urban hotel, Granada Center is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has harmonious, though severe, exterior lines. Its ivy-draped balconies soften this severity, as does the interior use of warm decorations and colors. The dramatic triangular atrium evokes a Hyatt hotel. Midsize to spacious guest rooms are among the city's best, with rich upholstery, contemporary prints, bedside controls, laminated desks, and a medley of coordinated pastels and tasteful wooden furnishings in a mix of dark and light colors. There are facilities galore, including a garden-style cafe in front of the building, a salon, and a pub.
