Description:
Only 200m (656 ft.) from the train station, this four-story, government-rated four-star hotel is one of the leading choices of Granada, yet charges reasonable rates. Devotees consider it much better than its competitor, Reina Christina, and on par with the Inglaterra; the latter is slightly more cutting edge. The styling throughout is vaguely neoclassical and dates from 1988. The hotel received its last major overhaul in 2006. Bedrooms are midsize and furnished in both traditional and modern pieces, with fabrics coordinated on the beds and the draperies, the floors softly carpeted. Contemporary and tasteful wooden furnishings are used throughout. All in all, this hotel is serviceable, but not spectacular.
